I loved visiting the Enchanted Forest during the summer.  These photos are 40 years old and they were taken in the late 1970’s.   This was my very first visit to the Enchanted Forest.  On later visits I can remember the anticipation and the excitement I felt waiting to see the array of Gingerbread men and Old King Cole welcoming us.  Going down the Mount Vesuvius slide, watching my clothes glow in the cave, peeking in the Three Bears House, watching children celebrate a birthday in the big Gingerbread House and being scared at Willie the Whale’s noises are some of the memories that I can remember quite vividly.
When I shared my stories and photos of the Enchanted Forest a few years ago with my daughter she wanted to visit the Enchanted Forest too. With the opening of Clark’s Elioak Farm my daughter’s dream came true!!
