bunnies, ducklings, donkey, turkeys, ponies and horses.
Come celebrate the Enchanted Forest and all the great attractions we have at the farm. Special activities including costumed characters, story times, facepainting, Enchanted Forest memorabilia, original artwork and painted Enchanted Forest stones for sale.
DANIELA ANDERSON will show us fibers from raw to finished, different types and qualities of wool and do spinning demonstrations. Kids of all ages will get a hands-on opportunity to experience the art of spinning. Also come see Border Collie sheep herding demonstrations at 1:00 PM both days with our resident shepherd, JANET HARVEY.
Free hay rides for all grandparents accompanied by a child. A great time to see the Enchanted Forest treasures you remember.
Free hayrides for all children who bring a Teddy Bear. If you bring your own Teddy Bear, you can participate in the Teddy Bear Contest at 1 PM and 3 PM Saturday and Sunday. Or you can bring a Teddy Bear and donate it to the Pediatric Department of the Howard County General Hospital. Folk singing with TONY MCGUFFIN Noon-4 PM both days.
Free hayrides for all mothers accompanied by a child. Happy Mother’s Day to all our wonderful mothers!!! Give Mom a treat and bring her to the farm to see the Enchanted Forest attractions she loved as a child! A great family outing!
We will delight children and adults with fairytales and stories about our many animals throughout the day on Saturday. Details to follow.

Saturday from 1 PM to 3 PM all members of the family, pets included, are invited to a fun-filled afternoon. Part of the Columbia 40th Birthday celebration. Sponsored by VCA Columbia Animal Hospital, VCA Lewis Animal Hospital and Odum Real Estate Group, proceeds benefit Family and Children’s Services of Central Md. Entertainment will include music, free balloons from the Balloon Man, a caricaturist, and free ice cream cones. Demonstrations by P.U.P.S. Dog Obedience Training. Also, a Dog Parade and Contest with prizes for the best dressed dog, smallest and biggest dog, and others.
